Insurance-backed construction guarantees with a simple, professional process—structured to match Employer requirements.
A Construction Guarantee is a financial instrument that protects the Employer if the contractor fails to perform in terms of the contract. It provides assurance—subject to the guarantee wording—that agreed funds will be available if contract requirements aren't met.
Common requirements and frameworks
Typically once we've received the required information, we can confirm terms and move to draft/issue depending on Employer approval and facility conditions.
Pricing depends on your financials, the project and insurer terms. Premium is calculated on the guarantee value and billed per the insurer's structure and minimum period.
Collateral varies by insurer assessment and can range from 0% up to a defined portion of the guarantee value.
We structure guarantees to match Employer requirements and align to common frameworks (JBCC, GCC, NEC and FIDIC). Draft wording is checked before final issue.
Send the Employer wording/format and your facility documents (financials + management accounts + supporting info). If you're unsure, email what you have and we'll confirm what's outstanding.
Bank facilities may require higher collateral and restrict working capital. Insurance-backed guarantees can reduce pressure on bank lines, subject to insurer terms.
